Neko Health

My one-hour appointment at Neko Health gave me the actionable insights I wanted. It was a stark contrast to the dismissive public healthcare I received.

My dad died a decade ago from a sudden heart attack. I've since learned that heart attacks are a recurring issue in my family.

I've always prioritised health and fitness. But a minor knee trauma in 2024 - made worse by the NHS - pushed me to prioritise my health and fitness further. The tipping point that led me to take private action was abrupt. It was when an NHS doctor shrugged and said, "Well, what do you want me to do?"

Since then, I have prioritised preventive healthcare. I want to increase my healthspan and lifespan. Booking a Neko Body Scan was another step in prioritising that.

My one-hour appointment at Neko Health was informative and efficient. It included non-invasive tests and a consultation. It gave me the actionable insights I wanted. It was more than I could ever expect to get from a local GP.

Everything about Neko Health felt premium. I'd describe the atmosphere it creates as a futuristic Black Mirror vibe. It's as far from a dilapidated public hospital as you can imagine. It also manages to provide its service at a fair and impressive price.

I know the Neko Body Scan can't and won't guarantee that I will never have health or fitness issues. It would be naive to think that. But I'm confident that annual scans will help me increase my healthspan and lifespan.

The alternative is blissful ignorance. I can understand the case some people make. To each their own. But I hope Neko Health - and services like it - lead more people towards preventive healthcare. That is especially true for those who do not know where to start with preventive healthcare.
